WiK: quests not appearing, what have I missed? (solved) - Guild Wars Forums

Hey guys,

hoping someone can help me with this. I'm trying to work my way through the War In Kryta on my second character and I seem to be stuck.

I've completed both Proph and EotN on this char, seen the dialogues in the Shining Blade Camp and witnessed the Trial Of Zinn, and the Lion's Arch Keep has become available. However, when I talk to the Wanted signpost inside the Keep, the only quests being offered are the daily ones; no offering of Lashona/Lovisa/Bauer.

The only thing I haven't done that I'm aware of is complete Thackeray's scavenger hunt (since I don't have any birthday cakes), but according to the WiK flowchart as I see it, that shouldn't be a requirement, should it?

I've since been back to the Camp again to check if I missed anything there and the various NPCs are gone, which makes sense as most are now in the Keep. So I'm not sure what to do next; how I do trigger the offering of the required Wanted quests, can anyone help me?

EDIT: never mind, I bought some cake and completed the scavenger hunt anyway, and it seems that's what I was missing. Which is interesting, since when I went through WiK the first time I didn't have the cider until this weekend but the Wanted quests still appeared for me ages ago. Seems the flowchart might be a bit out of date now?

Just FYI in case you run into further problems, Murro has been added to Lion's Arch to help you sort out what you're supposed to do to progress through WiK.

Yeah they modified it to make the earlier parts a requirement as you have to complete thackeray's picnic for the hearts series.

I was in the middle of the mursaat quests and had to go back to repeat 2 of the inquisitor quests for some reason.

But the good thing is that after I did the quests again I got the rewards again too

...even though the War in Kryta overquest is still all buggy. (showing me as needing to do the three bounties, but nothing on the sign other than the daily; currently procrastinating about getting a group for Temple of the Intolerable, which I'm unable to H/H)
